Team Bella's Room, or TBR for short, is a community of people who enjoy playing video games together and exchanging their thoughts, on all kinds of subjects, in chats and discussions.

TBR was founded by (SFC) Pete Smile back in 2004 as a gathering spot for gamers who believed fun was more important than scores and rankings, and who believed that the most fun to be had was playing with friends rather than anonymous strangers.

Pete and the members from the early days, many of whom are still TBR's senior members today, had met each other on a GFN "Half-Life 2 Death Match" server which ran a map called "Bella's Room" 24/7. People there did not put competition over everything else and did not talk down on new and inexperienced players, something rarely to be found in the world of online gaming.
One day the server was closed down. Left without a place to meet with like-minded gamers, Pete decided to set up a server on his own, devoted to the same spirit of gaming they all had learned to treasure. Quickly word spread and some familiar faces gathered on the new server.
With the place where they all first met and where it all began in mind, Team Bella's Room was formed.

What started out with HL2 DM is now a podium for people to play a variety of games together, with a strong focus on first-person shooters and mostly those featured on the STEAM platform. Among "Left 4 Dead", "Killing Floor", "Garry's Mod", "Borderlands" and others, "Team Fortress 2" is where all members usually come together and where most of the community events take place. It is also the game TBR's most popular server is dedicated to, running "2fort" 24/7 and which many consider TBR's online living room.

Over the years TBR became a vibrant community with members from many countries on different continents who are looking for more in online gaming than just the occasional frag. While TBR is based in the UK, which is where many of our members live, the places from where people join us are really only limited by the connection quality to our servers, most of which are located in the UK and the Netherlands.
With more than a hundred active members, with ages ranging from the teens to well within the fifties, TBR is a great place to meet new characters, learn something about their backgrounds and cultures and to relax during a casual game of blowing each other to pieces!

Though we all are easy going people we do believe in a basic set of rules, which first and foremost are designed to keep hostility, bigotry and racism away from our servers. Everyone who accepts those rules is always welcomed to play and have a laugh with us and to join our forums. But when it comes to accepting new members into TBR we are somewhat picky. While skill does not matter to the slightest, personality does. We are proud of the family feel our community has and we are determined to preserve it.
